Some versions of Outlook 2010 look like this:

1. In Outlook 2010, click on File, then Info, then Add Account |

2. Choose to Manually configure server settings and then click Next |

3. Choose Internet E-mail and then click Next |

4. Fill in the fields as shown. Obviously, you put your name (for example, Paul Doherty) where the screenshot has Your Name. Put your e-mail address in the two places where the screenshot has example@btinternet.com, and use the correct password for your BT account. (This is the same password you would use to log in at http://bt.yahoo.com) Click on More Settings ... |

5. Tick the box that says My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authenication. Check that Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selcted. Click OK, then Next, then Finish. |
